NEW CONNECTIVITY ACQUIRED
Datex has acquired 2 new DS3 lines through Sprint and Cable & Wireless for additional
connectivity and fail-over redundancy for its Network. It is estimated that these 2
completely redundant DS3 lines will be installed by the end of July 1999, with the first
one to be completed by the 1st week of May 1999. This will bring Datex's overall total to
7 DS3 connections to the internet (each 45mbps!). Datex's immediate goals were to increase
network connectivity with Europe and to add overall capacity to keep our network highly
robust and well ahead of any of our competition.
